Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision

The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision is located in the striking, colourful square building on the Mediapark in Hilversum. The 7-storey building contains all you need to know about the world of media. It contains an “Experience” centre, offices, a large and a small theatre room, a shop, eatery with terrace, and a parking garage.

Interior for a multitude of uses
Keijsers Interiors worked with the designers to think about how the interior could be used for many different things. For example, screenings, symposia and book presentations are organised in the two theatres. Keijsers incorporated red, green and blue LED lighting in the ceiling and walls. This makes any desired colour pattern and colour temperature possible.
The Grand Café provided Keijsers with striking buffets, counters and seating areas. The “school café” is furnished with modern fixed benches and tables. A descending stepped part of the central hall is furnished as a welcoming terrace.
