Het Tropenmuseum

The Tropenmuseum Amsterdam is a museum about people. It is located in one of the most beautiful and original museum buildings in the Netherlands. The monumental Lichthal [Hall of Light], affords a good view of what the museum has to offer. The museum is in need of modernisation.

In close collaboration with architect Lies Willers, Keijsers helped revitalise and adapt the museum. The public facilities have been modernised and the Lichthal has even been completely renovated. The Tropenmuseum is contemporary once again.
