KPN Toren op Zuid

KPN Toren op Zuid

The KPN building, at the beginning of the Wilhelminapier in Rotterdam, is a design by Renzo Piano. It was a controversial design when it was first completed in 1999. And in 2016, it no longer met the user’s requirements. With consent from Piano, the building was revived and given an extensive transformation. A large entrance with public and business facilities was built on the ground floor, and the tower was transformed from a lofty office building into a flexible and up-to-date workplace. In its new capacity, the building links the neighbourhood and city, and once again functions as a driver of public life on the pier.

Keijsers Interiors was commissioned to deliver and install the custom interior. The furniture was made of high-quality materials that match the role of the building. As a jewel in the crown, we built a library in solid and veneered oak. KPN’s Board of Directors was given an interior that suits the times.
